South Seas Books & Trading is an independent bookshop in Port Elliot.

The shop is a space where people can feel they are entering a welcoming living room which is filled with books and other interesting pieces, where they can browse through the shelves for their latest books at their leisure, meet friends for a coffee or shop for a unique gift.

As well as books we also have furniture, lamps, art, ceramics, stationery and other appealing gifts. Travel diaries and light luggage can be found with the travel books and candles and room fragrances with the art and design books. Book bags, bookends and games are placed through the children’s reading section.

We have a wide selection of literature and good reading for all ages, as well as a range of eclectic art and design books. South Seas also has a small selection of out of print second hand books for sale and current magazines to read while sitting down for a coffee and biscuit, either inside on the couches or outside in the courtyard.
